Dear Fellow Golfer and Customer:
We are sending you this message to let you know just how much we appreciated your business this past season. Due to your unwavering support, you helped make 2018 truly a success. We are already excited about next season as this marks our 41st year of business and a change of the guard in management. After 40 years of outstanding service, the owners Jim and Gary Van Pee have reached the amazing milestone of “retirement.” Congratulations and thank you are in order for a job well done. However, with their retirement comes a new opportunity for the next generation to carry on the family business. Jim and Gary are excited to announce that their daughters Jodi Elsing(daughter to Gary) along with her husband David, and Molly Demaske(daughter to Jim) along with her husband Brent, have decided to follow in their fathers’ footsteps and accept the challenge of managing &  operating the course full time!

Molly and Jodi, with their respective families, want to let everyone know how excited they are to take on this challenge and what a privilege it is to be able to serve each and every Castle Rock Golf Course customer. Both have grown up in the family business and can’t wait to put their own mark on Castle Rock. Molly, Jodi, and the entire staff look forward to serving their members with the same great customer service as well as continuing to make improvements across both the course and clubhouse. Please join us, Sunday, December 16 from 2 – 5 pm, for the Annual Member Holiday Party as we celebrate a fantastic 2018 season and to congratulate the Van Pee, Demaske, and Elsing families on this new and exciting venture.

The early membership plans offer significant savings over the regular membership rates which will go into effect January 1, 2019. You will find our 2019 membership rates enclosed, along with a list of 2019 member-only benefits. By purchasing a membership, you will receive $300 or more in additional special membership privileges. We will also have a drawing for 2 – $100 gift cards for memberships paid by January 1, 2019.

In addition to golf memberships, we have ten-play passes on special through the end of the year at 20% off the regular rate. If you do not feel that you would benefit from a golf membership, the ten-play pass may be a good alternative for you. By purchasing a ten-play pass, you will essentially receive 2 free rounds of golf.

We will be open in December for your holiday shopping needs. If you are looking for holiday gifts, we have merchandise and gift cards available for purchase in the pro shop. Our hours will be:

• 11:00 – 4:00 pm Friday thru Sunday, December, 7th – 9th
• 11:00 – 4:00 pm Friday thru Sunday, December, 14th – 16th
• 11:00 – 4:00 pm Friday thru Sunday, December, 21st – 23rd
• 11:00 – 4:00 pm Monday, December 31st
• We are also open by appointment. If you are not available during our open hours, please call 608-847-4658 and leave a message and we will arrange a time to meet at the clubhouse.

complimentary food, we hope you will take the time to let us buy you one of our famous Tom & Jerrys or a
beverage of your choice.

No area club offers more golfing opportunities for its members than Castle Rock. Whether it’s our popular Men’s,
Ladies’, Senior’s, or Scramble Leagues, or member tournaments, we have golfing opportunities for everyone.
Jim and Gary would like to say thank you for all your continued support over the last 40 years and Molly and Brent, Jodi and David are looking forward to serving you in the years to come.

2019 League Play Schedule

Monday Morning Seniors – Fun 9-hole league for all men who wish to participate starting at 9:00 am., a very
popular golf mixer.
Monday Night Two-Person Scramble – Handicapped two-person scramble 9-hole league. Begins the Monday following Memorial Day and ends the Monday before Labor Day. This is a very popular league and has been a great time for everyone who has participated in it the past five years.
Tuesday Ladies Day – Fun 9-hole league for all ladies who wish to participate. League play begins on the first Tuesday in May.
Wednesday Men’s League – Four-person teams play for match and medal points. Get your team together early.  There are options of playing in early or late leagues. Team organizational night is April 24th.
Sunday Golf & Chicken – We will again be having a 9-hole scramble and a chicken dinner starting in May.
Friday Night Fish Fry – We offer a fish fry every Friday night, Starting March 8th, 2019 and ending at the end of October for the season. We serve from 5:00-8:30.
